Why is it important to provide mental health services for students with EBD?

We provide mental health services for EBD students because it is the source of disability that interferes with their learning process. The schools provide educational services Relevant only. For example, if a student has a great deal of anxiety or depression, but demonstrated adequate growth of learning in regular ed classes, get assignments, and do not disturb other students, the school does not allow mental health services.
